Once a coastguard's cottage in a former life, this home has been lovingly restored into a unique getaway. As you can probably guess, the sea isn't too far away – it's just forty metres to Windmill Beach, for instance – and there are some gorgeous coastal views to be had out of the windows. To the front of the address, there's a pleasant garden in which to enjoy alfresco marshmallows by the fire pit, but should the weather be misbehaving, it's just as easy to get cosy inside beside the wood-burning stove or in the freestanding bathtub.
